Amaan is the Chief Operating Officer at Equi.
Amaan has over ten years of experience across communications, executive operations, strategy and governance across the charity and public sectors. He has supported executive leadership at the NHS, Barnardo’s, and has also managed large-scale development and humanitarian programmes across Africa and Asia within the international development sector. He serves as a trustee for charities supporting faith-sensitive palliative care and interest-free microloans.
Amaan holds an MSc in International Development and a BSSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Manchester. His dedication to ethical leadership and public service is central to his work, with a deep commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalised groups through thoughtful, inclusive policymaking.
