Mohammed Ali is an award-winning artist, curator, and producer, renowned for his vibrant work exploring faith, identity, and social justice. Founder of Brimingham-based Soul City Arts, a leading Arts Council England National Portfolio organisation, he delivers impactful programmes nationally and internationally. His cinematic art tells everyday stories of marginalised communities, blending street art, immersive installations, and film.
Ali’s work has featured globally, collaborating with institutions like the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and Universities of Birmingham and Warwick. An alumnus of the Salzburg Global Seminar, he inspires underserved audiences on art’s transformative power, creating accessible works that push boundaries and build stronger communities.
