Oscar Davies

Oscar is a Researcher at Equi. He holds a BA in History from the University of Edinburgh, where his dissertation examined governance in British East Africa, and an MA in International Relations from the University of Leeds, where he focused on peace politics in contemporary Northern Ireland. His research explored how peacebuilding strategies can help overcome sectarianism.

Oscar’s work experience outside of Equi includes his role as research and administration assistant for the University of Leeds, where he supported an externally funded research project on the role of faith in community resilience, peace and reconciliation in the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Burundi. The project brought together researchers, NGO workers, and local faith actors to formulate recommendations for humanitarian policy and practice. Oscar has also consulted for World Vision International, a leading British faith-based humanitarian NGO, where he worked as a research assistant.
