Prof. Francis Davis

Francis is of Public Policy and Communities at the University of Birmingham and has taught social sciences at Oxford University (where he held a Fellowship), Cambridge University, and business schools. A social entrepreneur and journalist, he has co-founded over 40 innovative social ventures, generating millions in investment and creating hundreds of jobs. He co-chaired the Mayor of West Midlands Faith and Cohesion group. He has advised at the UK cabinet level. Zambian born, with interests in Southern Africa, Francis has worked with international NGOs and Foundations, as well as the Buncher Inter-Faith conference, focussing on disability and mental health inclusion.

Francis is Professor of Public Policy and Communities at the University of Birmingham.
