Sophia Yasmine Steel is an Administrative Assistant at Equi.
Sophia is also an Associate Lecturer in Social and Political Science at the University of Lincoln, teaching in modules on feminisms, political theory, violence, and power.She has experience in communications, further and higher education and community building in the third sector. In her post as Research Assistant to the Head of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds, she conducted research supporting Critical Muslim Studies and assisted with the organisation of three international research conferences pertaining to the Muslim world.
Sophia holds a BSocSc in Politics and International Relations and MA (Research) in International Relations from the University of Manchester.
